Figured I should do some updating...June 2, 2010...we have a beautiful 4 month old little Lucy...Louise McDaniel Delaney was born February 1, 2o10. She had quite the entrance into this world seeing how she was breech and was delivered 2 weeks early by c-section...wouldn't have been my first choice but none the less, the end result was well worth it.

Miss Lucy is a GREAT baby. She pretty much slept the first two months of her life and is just now coming to life!! She eats every four hours and sleeps from 9pm until 7am...woohoo!! Just yesterday she had her 4 month check-up. She weighed 12lbs. 15oz. and she is 24.25inches tall!! She is in the 35% for weight, 40% for head, and 50% for height. She continues to be a tiny little girl (especially compared to big brother Patrick). Lucy is talking ALL the time, rolling over, and even has a tooth trying to come in!!

Maybe I will be better about blogging...having two children should make it easier, right?!

Happy Easter

Patrick had a GREAT Easter!! We went to the early church service and Patrick was perfect! Then we went to Mo and Papa's (my grandparents) for lunch. We had a Easter Egg Hunt! Patrick won!! (of course he was the only hunter!) He is also doing very well with his walking along as we hold his hand. However, he did take several steps today while playing at Mo's (3-4 steps, which is HUGE for him!)

He is now 13 months old!! I can't believe it. He has eight teeth with more on the way! These teeth are really helping him eat...he eats more than you can imagine! Liza doesn't think he has the sensor that tells you you are full! His favorite foods are probably cheese, crackers, yogurt, and fruit. We aren't real big on veggies...but who is!!

The weather is finally warmer and Patrick loves being outdoors! Hopefully we will get our yard in order soon and he will be able to run around and play! For now, wagon rides seem to do the trick!

Patrick is ONE!

Patrick had his FIRST birthday on March 4!! We celebrated by having lunch at Groucho's and dinner at Wade's...his two favorite places!! Then we had a birthday party on Saturday, March 7. Patrick was a little under the weather but he rallied through and actually enjoyed his cake. The weather was perfect and he was able to enjoy his new gift...a red wagon which he adores!

I can't believe that he is already a year old...time flies!! Here are is stats:

Currently weighing in at 24.0lbs (75% weight)

Height is 31" (80%)

Head Circumference is 18.75" (80%)

Patrick now eats EVERYTHING and ANYTHING!! He is really enjoying eating all the foods we "big" people eat. We no longer have bottles (except for one in the morning but it should be gone next week)! Patrick is also now drinking real milk rather than formula...yay!! This makes life alot more afordable! We also threw away all his pacifiers...I am all about cold turkey...and the earlier you do it, the better. It really wasn't a big deal for him at all!

Patrick is such a big kid now! We are just working on that walking thing. He is able to cruise the house by holding on to furniture or walls and he will stand all by himself. Hopefully (or maybe not) he will take those first steps real soon!!

I hope to keep this blog updated more frequently now...I finally got a new computer which is making everything faster and easier to do!
